About us

Welcome to Daycare Nurseries, we have been providing quality childcare and education since 1980. We have a fully inclusive care policy and endeavour to support all of your child's individual needs whatever they be.

Our Out of School Club offers places for care and fun outside of the normal school hours including school holidays.

Our nursery offers full time places, daily places and half days. We also offer government funded places for all three and four year old children. We also access the two year funding.

We are registered with Ofsted and our report can be viewed both on this site and at www.ofsted.gov.uk

We offer nutritious, well-balanced and healthy meals, which are served traditionally in a family style, encouraging independence.

Our settings value diversity by introducing the children to cultures and our multicultural society and welcome children and their families from all minority back grounds.

Age of Attendance

Our setting is registered for 57 children in which we separate into rooms.

Our Kittens room - birth to two years.

Our Cats room - eighteen months to three years.

Our Tigers room - two and half years to five years.

Our Lion's Den - three years to eleven years.

Security

We are very security conscious and we will only allow your child to be collected by persons nominated by you. The setting has CCTV cameras fitted, which holds footage for 10 days.

Outdoor play

Staff ensure that the children play outside every day. Therefore we ask that you provide appropriate clothing and foot wear.

Staff

We employ staff who hold a wealth of qualifications and experience and who update their knowledge by attending regular training updates both in house and those provided by outside agencies. Staff are trained to NVQ level 2, 3 or 4 with staff undertaking the Foundation Degree in Early Years Childhood Studies. Click here for our staff profiles.

Absences

We would like you to inform us if your child is absent from the nursery. Any child suffering from a communicable disease should be excluded for the recommended amount of days. For more information please refer to this communicable disease chart.
